R.E. Olds Park will host the inaugural Oldsmar Craft Beer and Music Festival on Saturday, Nov. 21.

October is considered the traditional month to host a beer festival, but craft beer aficionados will have to hold onto their steins a little longer in anticipation of Oldsmar’s Oktoberfest-style event.

Officials report the inaugural Oldsmar Craft Beer and Music Festival, originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3, at R.E. Olds Park has moved to Saturday, Nov. 21 from 3:00-7:00 p.m.

No reason has been given for the switch.

The event, hosted by J.J. Taylor Distributing Florida, will feature samples from some of the nation’s best craft breweries as well as live music, food, entertainment and more.

Tickets for the festival cost $30.00 for general admission, which includes unlimited sampling of over 100 beers from 30 different craft breweries, and $60.00 for a VIP pass, which includes admission to a VIP Tent and exclusive sampling.

According to organizers, all of the proceeds from ticket sales for the event will go towards Oldsmar Cares and Water For People.
