The class incorporates resistance bands, dumbbells, floor mats and can include outside exercises on the equipment behind the Rec Center. The class consists of the HIIT principle of exercise. The annual running of the Oldsmar Cup Race at Tampa Bay Downs will be held on Sunday, April 7th. Residents with a photo ID and Oldsmar address will receive free standard admission to the track; plus, the opportunity to be in the Winners Circle following the race. Join Oldsmar Mayor Eric Seidel and the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce for a Charity Roast honoring former Oldsmar Mayor Doug Bevis. The Roast will be held on Wednesday, April 10 at 7:30 a.m. at Nielsen, catered by Amici's. Tickets are $25 each with table sponsorship available. All proceeds benefit the Holiday Sharing Fund. Annual Golf Tournament The City of Oldsmar is hosting its 20th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, May 10, 2019, at the Westchase Golf Club. Shotgun start is at 1:00 p.m. This event is a primary fundraiser towards summer camp scholarships for children in the Oldsmar community. Individual player fee is $75. Memorial Day Ceremony Oldsmar City Officials invite the community to join them for their Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 27, 2019, 10:00 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, located at 250 Shore Drive East in Oldsmar. This annual event will feature Keynote Speaker Paula Rodriguez, Gold Star Sister of Marine LCPL William O. Frantz. Military ceremonies will also be performed.
