The 2015 edition of Oldsmar days and Nights drew record crowds to R.E. Olds Park from March 25-27.

The 54th edition of Oldsmar Days and Nights on March 27-29 was one of the most successful in the event’s history, according to organizers

The three-day festival, which featured classic cars and classic rock music, a parade and dozens of carnival rides, drew thousands of patrons to R.E. Olds Park over the weekend.

According to Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce Director Jerry Custin, the 2015 Oldsmar Days was virtually the biggest one yet.

“With the great weather, Oldsmar Days 2015 was one of the largest on record in terms of carnival rides, vendors and attendance,” Custin told Oldsmar Connect.com

“Great old classic cars in a beautiful park by the Bay, outstanding weather, super music and people having fun. It doesn’t get much better than this!”

In addition to the wide variety of food, drink and merchandise vendors at the park, Oldsmar Days also played host to the City’s only annual parade as well as the always-popular Oldsmobile Classic Car Show.

Following Saturday’s parade, spectators strolled through the west lawn of the park, checking out all the classic Olds cars while music by Stormbringer and the Greg Billings band played nearby.

A waterskiing show by the Oldsmar-based Tampa Bay Waterskiing Show Team also captivated the hundreds of spectators that lined up on the pier as well as along the park’s shoreline.

On Sunday, attendees took advantage of the event’s $20.00 all-you-can-ride wristband promotion, as renowned local band the Black Honkeys closed out this year’s event with a rocking set on the main stage.

“There was so much energy that several of our bands did not want to leave the stage and played beyond their contracted times feeling the love from the crowds,” Custin said.
